Outreach Film
To celebrate the 175th year of the glorious journey of IITR, an outreach film has been made, which was released on 2nd October, 2022 titled “Celebrating 175 Years of Excellence of IIT Roorkee”. The film features the developments of the institute through the years as one of the IITs, being a premium education center in the country along with shared experiences from professors, students and alumni.
A shorter version of the film (4 minutes) was released on 5th October which can also be found on YouTube
The film was prepared by News Virus Netwok Pvt Ltd. The contributions of IITR team comprising of Prof P K Jha (Chair), Prof Inderdeep Singh, Prof Uttam Kumar Roy, Prof Vivek Pancholi and Prof Priti Maheshwari are greatly appreciated.
