Carbon-emitting Vehicle Free Day

On the carbon-emitting vehicle free day observed at IIT Roorkee, only electric vehicles are allowed for individual (non-commercial) users. The noise and particulate matter pollution were measured on this day and the typical day when no restriction were observed. These days are referred to as non-motorised day and "motorised day" (respectively) in the image. The comparison results are shown in the image below.
