ICC will be using follwing rooms in LHC for live webcast
001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 102, 103, 104, 105

IITR_Convo (Steps to Connect)

1. For the Convocation, we have created an SSID by the name IITR_Convo for connecting to wifi.

2. User need to connect to this IITR_Convo SSID.

3. Once a user connects to IITR_Convo SSID user will be automatically directed to a Login portal IIT Roorkee fest.

4. In that portal user first needs to register as a guest user using a link "Or register for guest user".

5. User needs to complete the registration process and click on the "Register" tab.

6. User will then receive Username and Password on their registered mobile number.

7. The user can then SignOn to the IITR_Convo using the user id and password received by them.

All degree recipients are requested to follow the following:

1. They can enter the campus through Gate No 5 Vikas nagar gate near Old Kasturba Hostel when they reach the campus.

2. If your parents are coming with their own vehicle or hired vehicle then they can enter through Gate No 3 i.e. NIH gate.

3. No Electronic gadget will be allowed in the convocation hall due to high security. Kindly do not come to convocation hall with any such thing which may cause inconvenience to you or your family at the time of entering the hall.

It is mandatory for all degree recipients to attend rehearsal on Oct 3, 2019 and Session 1 i.e. degree conferment ceremony on the morning of Oct 4, 2019. Those who are absent during these sessions will not be allowed to attend session 2 or 3 as admissible.

MSc students may kindly note that they will be awarded degree in session 3 which is expected to start at 6.30 pm. The institute regret any inconvenience which may get caused due to this change.
