DST Africa initiative with ACEs

Government of India is proactively engaging with Africa on a continental level to develop a sustainable relation that will generate long term goodwill for India in Africa under Africa India Forum Summit III. For effective leveraging the soft prowess of Science and Technology for our engagements with Africa DST proposed collaboration with World Bank to strengthen Africa Centres of Excellence (ACE's) established in African countries with the assistance of World Bank. The modes and mechanisms to work with the World Bank supported ACEs in western, eastern and southern Africa to support capacity building through knowledge are under finalisation and expected to be announced during MUU ceremony.    Read more >>>
