the aegis of Directorate Of Technical Education, Government Of Uttrakhand. The college is affiliated to
Directorate Of Technical Education, Srinagar(Garhwal). The institute has gained the approval of All India
Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and
is recognized by University Grant Commission of India, New Delhi.

Located in Tanakpur, the land of Purnagiri temple, Government Polytechnic, Tanakpur
is a premier institute of learning & technology of Uttarakhand. It is spread over 5 acres. Its foundation stone was laid
on 02 Jan 2016. Today Government Polytechnic Tanakpur is ready to offer students good educations by providing a learning
experience design to develop intellectual abilities, as well as social, moral and ethical values. The institute programs
combine technical education both in Civil Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. The institute has well qualified
teaching faculty members.
The institute is situated across the bank of Sharda river. It resembles lecturer room, laboratory room,
computer lab, Civil Engineering lab & Workshop and play ground. The most remarkable features of the campus is the seamless
interconnection of nature & the built environment. Institute is established with an objectives to pursue excellence in teaching
