Birla Institute Of Applied Sciences(BIAS) is located in the most picturesque surroundings of the lake town of Bhimtal,
in the Nainital district of Uttaranchal. The campus is spread over an area of about 10 hectares of prime land amongst the Kumaun hills,
thus providing a cool climate and lush green environmental surroundings, ideally conducive for academic pursuit. Affiliated to the Kumaun
University and Uttrancal technical University. BIAS Bhimtal is a fully residential institute that offers two courses: MCA and B.Tech
(ECE & CS), both of which are approved by the AICTE (All India Council Of Technical Education).
The Institute has synergistic networking with Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, along with its extension centers at Noida,
Allahabad, Jaipur, Muscat, Ras Al Khaimah and Bahrain as well as with other prestigious organizations. It finds its origins in the
educational and scientific research endowments of the G. P. Birla Group of Industries.

Mandate

environment in the institute.
