The campus of the institute is well secured and surrounded by boundary walls. There are security guards at every entrance gate, who check all the vehicles entering the campus. Inside the campus, a number of security booths keep a strict vigil. Complaints regarding security can be registered in the security office. Security is responsible for the safeguarding of Government property against theft, fire and vandalism and also responsible for supervision & control over the private security agency deployed for ensuring campus security & safety in respect of students, staffs and faculty members, prevention of road accidents, eve-teasing, snatching etc.
To ensure the effective security monitor through electronic surveillance and also dominate the whole campus by 24*7 patrolling
Besides above security is responsible for liaisoning with local police and civil administration.
Implement all the instructions on ground issued by the institute as well as Govt. policy related to security.
Provides security to institute guests during all activities like Thomso, Cognizance, BOG etc.
Provides permission to keep and ply vehicles (02 wheeler/04 wheeler) inside the campus for students, faculties and staffs. Also provides temporary passes to domestic helps, petty commercial vendors, visitors, etc.
