Dr. R. Balasubramanian
Dr. R. Balasubramanian is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. His research interests include Fractional Transform Theory, Wavelet Analysis, Biometrics, Content Based Video Retrieval, Video Skimming and Summarization, Medical Imaging, Long-Range Imaging, Hyperspectral Imaging and Volume Graphics.
Dr. Partha Pratim Roy
Dr. P. P. Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. His research interests encompas the areas of Pattern Recognition, Multilingual Text Recognition, Biometrics, Computer Vision, Image Segmentation, Bio-Signal Analysis, EEG based Pattern Analysis, Machine Learning and Temporal Data Analysis.

About Me: I am a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Currently I'm working under Dr. R. Balasubramanian in the project Privacy Preserving Data Deduplication in Cloud. I completed my PhD from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) under the supervision of Prof. Sanjay Kumar Singh in the area of Biometric Security. Previous to that, I had completed my Bachelor's degree (B-Tech) from Siliguri Institute of Technology in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and my Master's degree (M-Tech) from Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad in the Department of Information Technology (specialization in Wireless Communication and Computing) under the supervision of Prof. Shekhar Verma. My primary research interest relates to the broad areas of Privacy, Biometrics and Information Security. More specifically, I work in various domains related to privacy preservation of Micro-databases and Biometric templates.

About Me: I am a Post Doctoral fellow working in the Machine Vision Laboratory at the Department of Computer Science, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Currently, I am working on applications of different deeplearning models to different problems and types of data under the mentorship of Dr. Partha Pratim Roy. During Ph.D I worked on developing no-reference algorithms for assessing quality of images.
