About ICMAA 2016

The Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) is proud to organize the International Conference on Mathematical Analysis and its Applications (ICMAA 2016). The main objective of ICMAA 2016 is to bring mathematicians from various parts of the world working in topics related to the conference, to interact with each other and to exchange ideas. ICMAA 2016 serves as an excellent platform to inculcate research interest among young minds on recent topics of Mathematical Analysis.

Topics to be covered: All topics related to Mathematical Analysis and its applications, including but not limited to:

• Analysis of Differential Equations (including Control theory, Fractional   Calculus and Stochastic PDEs)
• Complex Analysis and Harmonic Analysis (including Potential theory, Harmonic Mappings and   Quasi-Conformal Mappings)
• Fourier and Wavelet Analysis
• Inverse Problems and Non-linear Analysis
• Matrix Analysis, Operator Theory and Function Spaces
• Modern Methods of Summability and Approximation
• Orthogonal Polynomials and Special Functions

The SIAM Activity group on Orthogonal Polynomials and Special Functions (SIAG-OPSF) is also involved in the conference.
