International students are welcome to IIT Roorkee as exchange students or interns or short-time visiting researchers

• either through any one of the avenues listed below
• or by applying directly by an email to adir[at]iitr.ac.in with the following details
  1. A letter of application mentioning the specialization and list of the courses to be pursued at IIT Roorkee
  2. Transcripts available till now, including the ones from preceding degree
  3. Brief CV
  4. Provisional Study Plan or Course Structure
  5. Copy of the passport (important pages only)

For such students selected, the local hospitality shall be covered by IIT Roorkee. For exchange students, if the candidate has paid the tuition fee to the parent institute, the same may be waived off.
