SPARK
SPARK is a summer internship program to attract the best undergraduate talents from both IITR and from across country/globe to perform summer internship at IIT Roorkee. It is run with an aim of catering to our brightest young minds with a flavor of research and encouraging them to pursue higher studies after their graduation. The SPARK program is managed by the office of Dean(SRIC) and a group of faculty members. A generous weekly stipend is offered to all institute-funded interns. It is highly competitive and a very efficient platform. It is running its fifth edition in Summer 2022. Generally, more than one third of the interns are girls.
