Academic Reinforcement Program (ARP)

UGTASHIP: Flagship initiative of TEAM ARP
A student-run initiative to facilitate the academic transition of freshmen from school level to University level. Sophomores who performed well in a specific 1st semester and 2nd-semester subject are selected as UGTAs for the freshmen.
The following are the details of the program:
1) ARP coordinates between the UGTAs and freshman, groups are made of students, and UGTAs are allocated to them followed by ice-breaking sessions.
2) UGTAs are assigned the task of providing proper study material, study guidance, and tips for exams and quizzes and basically, any doubts students have in their academics and are finding it difficult to solve them.
3) Students having language barriers are provided with their language speaking UGTAs to avoid any academic hindrance in a freshman's life.
4) At the end of the semester, feedbacks are taken about the UGTAs and the UGTAship program to improve the quality of the program every year.
The initiative has obtained an excellent response from both sophomores and appreciation from the first-years as well.

Other initiatives of TEAM ARP:
1) Carrier Guidance Talks:Holding various talks on topics academic significance such as Research Conferences,MBA after IIT,GATE Exam etc.
Such talks help student get a view of the specific field and also ask their questions to an experience person
2) Placement and Internship blogs:Documenting the experience of students who were placed/selected as interns in various walks of life.
3) Coursera for Campus:Making Coursera Subscription free for campus junta so that students can do any course available on coursera for free and enhance their skills.
4) Leaf out of Experience:Under this intiative,freshmen and sophomores are guided by a pre-final or final year student corresponding to their proficiency and interest.
5) Maintaining and updating the ARP e-library with relevant Notes,Question Papers,Study Materials for the 1st year courses.

Along with this,TEAM ARP also has an active social media presence with around 2500 followers across both Facebook and Instagram.
