Paul obtained his Bachelors and Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Technical University, Berlin. He worked in Rolls Royce Germany for his master thesis. Since 2015 he is working on his doctoral work on development of thermal safety distances from organic peroxide fireballs. This collaborative  work is being carried out to ensure safe storage and transportation of organic peroxides with BAM Berlin, TU Cottbus and IIT Roorkee.
