Guidelines for publishing your Conference Paper in “Towards Water Circular Economy -Proceedings of the Responsible Water Management and Circular Economy (RWC) 2024- A Springer book series Springer Proceedings in Earth and Environmental Sciences”.
Responsible water management and circular economy aim to establish a common understanding of circular economy principles and resilience in the water sector and to support countries in implementing those principles. It is essential for water security to deal with the effect of climate change. It can be achieved through smart water management, the use of non-conventional water resources, the rejuvenation of natural water systems, using advanced tools and techniques, and adaptation strategies. It will help in improving the water availability in terms of quantity as well as quality and human health. Smart water governance and educating society can also play an important role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 6) “Water for all“. The book aims to accelerate interaction among various stakeholders.

Special Issue Title: Strategies for Integrated Water Resource Management and Circular Water Economy Development
Description: Water scarcity and poor water quality are critical global sustainability issues. To address these challenges, there is a need to transition from linear water management to a circular water economy. This approach integrates non-conventional water resources, such as atmospheric water and wastewater, to alleviate scarcity and promote sustainability. However, ensuring water quality is essential for public health and ecosystem well-being. Strategies including monitoring, source protection, treatment, and public education are vital in achieving sustainable water management. Collaboration among individuals, communities, governments, and industries is essential for implementing these strategies. By working together, we can ensure access to safe water, reduce the prevalence of waterborne diseases, and foster a sustainable and circular water economy for future generations.
The Journal of Environmental Science and Pollution Research (ESPR) covers the diverse themes and areas of Environmental Science and related subjects. The selected theme for this special issue covers issues such as Water Quality and its impacts on Public Health, Conventional and Non-Conventional Water Resources, and Circular Water Economy. The circular water economy approach can contribute to achieving several of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).
Opening date: October 1st, 2023, Closing date: 31st Jan 2024.

Special Issue Title: Emerging Hydro-Climatic Dynamics and Human-Water Interactions in a Changing World: perspectives from Roorkee Water Conclave 2024
Description: We invite authors to submit original research and review articles that aim to study new patterns, interaction and its variability, including its impact to climate extremes, development of new modeling paradigm capturing the impact of human interventions, development of new metrics/methods to quantify the changes induced by human interventions, improvements to existing methods to model the human component, and development of methods to understand the impact of human intervention on natural disasters, such as floods and droughts. Submissions of recent progress in observational, modelling, and theoretical studies in relation to new connections interactions, especially those that apply advanced techniques to analyze the nonlinearity and multiscale nature of processes, are welcome. Through these multi-faceted explorations, we aspire to unravel the complexities, foresee challenges, and harness opportunities for a more sustainable water future.
Hydrological Sciences Journal is an international journal for the exchange of information and views on significant developments in hydrology worldwide.
