Objective of the Course

Materials have played significant role in solving the major problems of the society since a long time. With the immense increase in the energy demands coupled with the catastrophic air and water pollution in India, the scientific community was forced to look for functional materials that can solve the problems. In this direction, the course is designed to provide a scientific know how to the participants on the various aspects of the functional materials, be its preparation methods, characterization, or functionality derived applications. The basic use of various instruments and hands-on training would tremendously benefit the participants. Moreover, this will be another opportunity to showcase our institute to participants
