Organic scaffolds are integral part of natural and synthetic compounds which find applications in pharmaceutical and electronic industries. They are either used as synthons or reagents in the construction of functional molecules. The main aim of the conference is to bring the experts representing the advancements in the development of organic compounds by novel synthetic transformations for diverse applications.

The scientific program of the conference would comprise of lectures from the nationally acclaimed eminent scientists on recent advancements in organic synthesis and utility of organic molecules in various applications. The conference will host invited talks from eminent scientists, ciritial accounts from rising stars in the field, scintillating discussions with post-doctoral students and poster exhibitions from budding research scholars. More than 500 participants are anticipated for the event.

An early career scientist will be presented with OMSRI Rising Star 2019 award. Similarly, awards are also instituted for best oral and poster presentations. Each award carry a citation, waiver of registration fee and cash prize.
