In pursuit of transforming Saharanpur campus into Green campus and to reduce the water consumption of the Saharanpur campus, the treated water from new installed STP having capacity of 500 KLD is to be used for irrigation of lawns. For this two pumps & around 1 km of pipeline has been laid and around 30,300 Sq.m. of lawn then was successfully irrigated with this treated water.
