•A new 1 MWp solar PV plant has been installed at IIT Roorkee Campus under the RESCO Model. The expected energy generation from the plant is about 34 lac Units in next 25 years.
•With the addition of this 1MWp capacity, IIT Roorkee has total rooftop solar installed capacity of 2.8MWp which is one of the highest among its sister institutes.
