About us
DiRac Lab is the hub of all research activities related to semiconductor devices in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, IIT Roorkee. We work on all aspects of semiconductor devices starting from material physics through device design and modeling, all the way to device-circuit co-design for a wide variety of applications.
Announcements
- Mohit and Sheelvardhan have both been invited to present at EDTM 2026, Penang, Malaysia.
- Abhishek has successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis and has recently joined UC Berkeley, CA, USA.
- Chandan received the Best M.Tech Thesis Award, 2025.
- Sudeb and Avirup are a part of the National Quantum Mission team developing a scalable semiconducting quantum computer.
- We are working with multiple industries on exploratory topics in Non-Volatile Memory and Machine Learning for EDA.
