Advanced Microwave Lab

The focus of the Advanced Microwave Laboratory at Electronics and Computer Engineering Department of IIT Roorkee has been the development and use for scientific studies of the microwave frequencies. Our major areas of research involve simulation, design and development of antennas and other microstrip/waveguide components for different applications. This laboratory is equipped with all state-of-the-art facilities for simulation and measurement of planar/non-planar microwave components, which include:

  1. Vector Network Analyzer (Rohde & Schwarz) 10 MHz - 20 GHz
  2. Network Analyzer (HP 8720B) 130 MHz - 20 GHz
  3. Spectrum Analyzer (Rohde & Schwarz) 9 KHz - 30 GHz
  4. Signal Generator (Rohde & Schwarz) 10 MHz - 20 GHz
  5. Analog Signal Generator (Agilent) 250 KHz - 20 GHz
  6. Hand held Spectrum Analyzer (Anritsu)
  7. Microwave Frequency Meters
  8. Microwave Power Meter
  9. Field Strength Measurement Systems
  10. Standard Gain Antennas
  11. Preamplifier, Mixers, VCOs
