  1. Dr. B. K. Maheshwari, as a Head of the Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation & Management and Professor of Department Earthquake Engineering. He is actively involved in the functioning of the centre.
  2. Prof. D. K. Paul, as Associated Faculty of Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation & Management and Emeritus Fellow of Department of Earthquake Engineering has actively participate in the various activities of the Centre. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. syllabus of Disaster Mitigation and Management. He is engaged in various consultancy projects in the Centre. He is the Chairman and Member of various National Committees. He is guiding a Ph.D. student at the Centre.
    1. CHAIRMAN Working Committee of Experts for Vulnerability Analysis and Risk Assessment constituted by NDMA.
    2. Member of Expert Committee to discuss the strategy for Retrofitting of District Hospitals under National Earthquake Risk Mitigation Project (NERMP) set up by the NDMA
    3. PROGRAMME COORDINATOR, National Programme for Capacity Building of Engineers in Earthquake Risk Management (NPCBEERM)  setup by Ministry of Home Affairs.
    4. CONVENER of Committee to develop Model Building Byelaws and Review of City, Town and Country Planning Act and the Zoning Regulations, set up by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.
    5. MEMBER of NATIONAL CORE GROUP for Earthquake Disaster Mitigation constituted by MHA.
    6. MEMBER of ENVIRONMENT ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE (MEAC) on River Valley Projects set up by Ministry of Environment & Forest (MoE&F).
    7. CHAIRMAN, Working Group on Seismic Microzonation of Delhi Region constituted by Department of Science and Technology (DST), GoI,  New Delhi.
    8. CHAIRMAN, Expert Group for Preparation for a Comprehensive Proposal on Microzonation of Guwahati, constituted by DST, Ministry of Science and Technology.
    9. CHAIRMAN of the NATIONAL STEERING COMMITTEE (NSC) on Seismic Microzonation of major cities constituted by Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES).
  3. Prof. N. K. Goel, Professor of Department of Hydrology. He is a member of Professorial Committee. He has contributed in the development of M. Tech. Syllabus for the Centre.
  4. Prof. A. K. Saraf, Professor of Department of Earth Sciences. He is a member of Professorial Committee. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. Syllabus for the Centre. He has recently completed a project on the use of  SAR Interferometry technique in near field seismogenic-zone deformation study after 2001 Bhuj Earthquake.
  5. Prof. R. Anbalagan, Professor Department of Earth Sciences. He is a member  of Professorial Committee.
  6. Prof. P. K. Garg, Professor of Department of Civil Engineering. He is a member  of Professorial Committee. He is also the Chairman of Centre Purchase Committee.
  7. Prof. M. L. Sharma, Professor of Earthquake Engineering. He is a member of Professorial Committee He is also a member of Centre of Purchase Committee. He is also guiding a Ph.D. Student of the Centre. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. Syllabus for the Centre. He has also contributed in the proposal on Multihazard Risk Assessment and Preparation of a Risk Atlas of the State of Delhi  to Government of Delhi. He is also involved in the development of Geospatial Data Processing Laboratory in the centre.
  8. Prof. Ashok Kumar, Professor of Earthquake Engineering. He is a member of Professorial Committee. He is also a member of Centre Academic Research Committee. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. Syllabus for the Centre. He has also contributed in the proposal on Multihazard Risk Assessment and Preparation of a Risk Atlas of the State of Delhi  to Government of Delhi.
  9. Prof. Amita Sinvhal, Professor, Department of Earthquake Engineering. She is actively involved in the functioning of the Centre.
  10. Dr. D. S. Arya, Professor of Department of Hydrology. He is a member of Centre Academic Research Committee. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. Syllabus for the Centre. He has also contributed in the proposal on Multihazard Risk Assessment and Preparation of a Risk Atlas of the State of Delhi  to Government of Delhi.
  11. Dr. Ajay Gairola, Professor of Department of Civil Engineering, served as Member Secretary (on deputation), Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board, Dehradun w.e.f. 17.3.2009 to 7.9.2011. He has been contributed in a series of consultancy projects to the Centre. He is guiding one of the Ph.D. students of the Centre. He has visited many countries under the banner of this Centre and contributed in the research activities of the Centre. He has also contributed in the proposal on Multihazard Risk Assessment and Preparation of a Risk Atlas of the State of Delhi  to Government of Delhi.
  12. Dr. Yogendra Singh, Professor of Department of Earthquake Engineering. He is a member of Centre Academic Research Committee. He is guiding one of the Ph.D. student of the Centre. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. Syllabus for the Centre. He has also contributed in the proposal on Multihazard Risk Assessment and Preparation of a Risk Atlas of the State of Delhi  to Government of Delhi.
  13. Dr. B. R. Gurjar, Professor of Department of Civil Engineering. He is a member  of Centre Academic Research Committee. He is guiding one of the Ph.D. student of the Centre. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. Syllabus for the Centre.
  14. Dr. Kamal Jain, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering. He is Chairman, Centre Academic Program Committee and actively involved in the functioning of the Centre.
  15. Dr. Kamal, Associate Professor of Department of Earth Sciences. He is a member of Centre Purchase Committee and Centre Academic Research Committee.  He is guiding one Ph.D. student of the Centre. He has contributed in the development of M.Tech. Syllabus for the Centre.
  16. Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, Associate Professor of Department of Architecture and Planning. She is a member of Centre Academic Research Committee. She has contributed in organizing  National Seminar and Training Programs under the banner of Centre. She is guiding one  Ph.D. student at the Centre.
  17. Dr. R. D. Garg, Associate Professor of Department of Civil Engineering. He is a  member of Centre Academic Studies Committee.
  18. Dr. Shishir Sinha, Professor of Department Chemical Engineering. He is a  co-investigator of a research project, which has been approved.
  19. Dr. Ranjana Pathania, Associate Professor of Department of Biotechnology. She has acquired  a sponsored research project under the Centre and is also  involved in several  activities of the centre.
  20. Dr. N. K. Navani, Associate Professor of Department of Biotechnology. He has acquired a sponsored research project under the Centre and is also  involved in several  activities of the centre.
  21. Dr. Amit Dhiman, Associate Professor of Department of Chemical Engineering. He is actively using the Centre High Performance Computing Facility and extending help to Ph.D. students of the Centre with regard to software development. Presently, he is engaged in Aerodynamic studies of flow past bluff bodies and their heat transfer characteristics.
  22. Dr. Rajat Agarwal, Associate Professor of Department of Management Studies. He is guiding one Ph.D. student of the Centre.
  23. Dr. Inderdeep Singh, Associate Professor of Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering. He is actively involved in the functioning of the centre and is involved in  a research project with the Centre.
  24. Dr. J. Das, Associate Professor of Department of Earthquake Engineering. He is actively involved in the functioning of the centre and guiding a research scholar of the Centre.
  25. Dr. Anand Joshi, Professor of Department Earth Sciences. He is actively involved in the functioning of the centre and presently he has written a research project with the Centre.
  26. Dr. R.S. Jakka, Assistant Professor, Department of Earthquake Engineering. He is actively involved in the function of the Centre and O.C. of Earthquake & Landslide Risk Assessment Laboratory.
