About The Conference
6th MIPS 2024 is a joint effort of DPIIT IPR Chair, Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee, Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, (SJMSOM) IIT Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Indore and National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. MIPS-2024 is the 6th International Biennial Conference in the series of Conferences being organised under the name “Management of Intellectual Property Rights and Strategy – MIPS”. This edition of MIPS, MIPS- 2024 is proposed to be organised at IIT Roorkee, Roorkee Uttarakhand from February 23 to February 24, 2024. Under the broad theme of MIPS i.e. IP for Development: The emerging Paradigm, the sub theme of the MIPS-2024 is “Best Practices in Managing IP and Early Stage Innovation”.
Objectives of the Conference
The conference will focus on the following specific objectives:
1. To create a platform for collaboration of experts from Academia and IP industry.
2.To Identify enablers and barriers in effective Management of Academia generated IP.
3.To propose a standard methodology for identifying Best Practices in Managing Academic IP and Early Stage Innovation in Indian HEIs.
