wevaw 1 IITR & University of Glasgow is having an MoU. Under this MoU, a joint project on Establishment of a Database of ECGs Recorded from a Healthy Native Indian Population has been taken up. Prof Peter Macfarlane of UoG is the coordinator from Glasgow where data analysis will be done and undersigned is the coordinator from IITR. Under this project EED of IITR has received three ECG Machines as gift for the collection of data. This database will be useful for research & development activities in the area of ECG Analysis. IITR has sanctioned Rs 2,00,000.00 to the undersigned to carryout this research project. Two other institutes SGGS Inst of Engg & Tech, Nanded and NIT Jalandhar will also be participating in this project. (Nodal Faculty from IITR : Dr. V.K.) 2 IITR & HIHT Dehradun is having an MoU. Under this MoU, (i) one research scholar is jointly working with Dr Achla Singhal, Prof & Head, Deptt of Cardiology, HIHT and Prof SC Saxena & Prof Vinod Kumar, IITR. ECG Data collection of Psycho-somatic patients and their medical interpretation is being done by Dr Achla Singhal and analysis is done at IITR (ii) another area of collaboration is Medical Image Analysis & Interpretation. One MTech and one PhD student has interacted with Radiology Deptt of HIHT for interpretation. (Nodal Faculty from IITR : Dr. V.K.) 3 IITR & PGI Chandigarh is having an MoU. Under this MoU, undersigned has visited PGI Chd and interacted with Prof Khandelwal, Head Radiology for a joint activity in the area of Medical Image Processing. It is planned to have a joint PhD scholar and also to submit a joint research project for external funding. (Nodal Faculty from IITR : Dr. V.K.)
