The swimming pool at IIT Roorkee was made in 1958.The Olympic size swimming pool is open from the months of July to October and then from the months of march to may. The swimming pool has different timing for beginners so the coaches can pay proper attention to them and help them learn the sport. The institute team also has a different slot where they improve their skills and technique under the supervision of expert coaches.
