Apart from imparting quality education to the hearing impaired RSD also provides vocational trainings to lead a normal life and compete with every one in a very competitive way. Getting professionally trained in several areas like Computers (DTP), Reprography, Manual Type Writing, Photography, Cooking & Catering, Cutting & Tailoring, Art & Craft (Professional Paintings) and Gardening.

Gaining the Talent to play with Computers RSD Students are well placed and become efficient to earn their livelihood. Efforts are made to provide Computer Education so that, the Students are equipped with necessary Computer Skills to be effective in the Technological World. RSD use Multimedia Educational Softwares, Computer Aided Instructions during the Class Room Practice.

Reprography helps the handicapped to take up as their profession by learning Xeroxing, Laminations, Perforating, Spiral & Professional Cardboard Bindings. It is such a Profession which is never out of demand and can be started with a very small capital at once own place.

In spite of the Computer Era in some of the Government Departments such as Judicial, Government Press, the Post of Manual Type Writer still exists as it used to be decades back. Moreover the learner becomes more perfect by learning the Typing on Manual Type Writer, when one starts using the Computer Key Board.
 

The Students have brought Laurel in Photography and up headed the Name of RSD and no doubt of IITR on the top of the Nation. The energetic Students after becoming perfect, have chosen the Photography as their Profession for earning Bread and Butter. One of the RSD Student developed fabulous Art studio at Haridwar and another Boy Student in a Metropolitan City.
 

RSD believes that Cooking & Catering is a necessary activity which is needed in leading a normal daily life. RSD Students are Trained through Latest Technologies and Gadgets used in learning the professionally best possible Cooking through Microwave, Nescafe Machine for Coffee, Chopper, Atta Kneader, Cooking Range, OTG, Food Warmer etc.

Cutting, Tailoring and Dress making is aimed to impart Sewing Skills to Girls as well as Boy Students in order to make them Self Reliant. The Course covers both Theoretical as well as Practical Training. The Products are made by Automated Sewing Machines, Interlocking Sewing Machines and Many More.

While Learning the Art RSD try to drag out the inner feelings of the Students, the combination of the innovation of Students and their Teachers result in to a Marvelous Creativity. The Innovation of Artist cannot be valued they are invaluable and such creativities proves to be with the higher Monitory benefit when sold to the real lovers of the Art.
 

The Word Gardening in itself is a very flowery Word, as all of us can not become Scientist or Engineer some have to be in a Profession which makes not only the Heart but the Soul happy. When one observes Colorful, Beautiful, Full of Fragrance Flowers in the Garden one feels imminence Pleasure. To trained them in this Profession a Practical Training is given at RSD so that in future they can be placed in the Government and Private Sectors as well.
