New Developments in Campus
Recently many developments are taking place at IIT Roorkee. Few among them are :
- Departmental Facilities : All the labs of departments are getting modernized and are provided with latest instruments.Lecture rooms and other facilities have also been improved over the time.
- Sports Facilities : Physical recreation through games and sports has been an important part of the Institute since its inception. Recently 41st Inter IIT meet was hosted by IIT Roorkee. Institue now has separate and excellent fields for playing Cricket, Football, Hockey. Also there are now four more synthetic Tennis courts and new Volley Ball court. - Convocation Hall : Inauguration of renovated Convocation Hall(Hangar) took place.
