To have a journal of this esteemed society was a long cherished dream of our members. The extremely valuable effort by the peers who formed this society would be now carried forward by the current scientists and technocrats in this area and will give it a new edge.
All the deliberations from the participants of the National Conference on Biomechanics 2006 were compiled and are being published as the first and the second issue of the Indian Journal of Biomechanics. The same trend will be followed for the National Conference on Biomechanics 2009.
